Thank you for stepping up to support our basketball club. Without your dedication and enthusiasm, our kids wouldn’t have the opportunity to play, learn, and grow through the sport they love. Your commitment is the backbone of our community, and we are immensely grateful for your time and effort.
On this page we provide some resources to help you with your role in our childrens’ sport.
All coaches and team managers are required to register via PlayHQ
Each season coaches and managers must complete and submit a member protection form. These cannot be reused; they must be completed every season.
In the event there is no coach/team manager screened for the team, your match will be forfeited, and you will be required to pay the forfeit fee.
Forms must be submitted through this link – they will not be accepted at the stadium as a hardcopy.
*If coaches are under the age of 18, they will still need to submit a member protection declaration but won’t need to submit a WWCC.
It is required that all coaches, team managers and committee list both Osborne Utd and MDBA on their WWCC.
All junior and senior domestic teams are required to pay match fees using Teammo online. Team Managers are able to request funds from team members electronically and pre-pay match fees.
Player Junior Game Fee – $11.50 per person per game
Senior Team Sheet Fee – $70.00 (pre-paid weekly using Teammo)
Fill in player – $14.00
For information on how to use Teammo, please click the button below.
If you need a refund for a player who hasn’t turned up to play, the Team Manager can have this processed in Teammo by asking the staff member or Venue Supervisor. No match payments or refunds will be processed via eftpos.
Team Managers or Coaches must ensure that all players are entered into PlayHQ and paid for via Teammo accurately to be covered by insurance, receive qualifying matches and to avoid losing premiership points and/or having matches forfeited for incorrect details.
All junior and senior domestic teams are required to use Teammo to manage forfeits online. Team Managers will be required to create a Teammo account, this will allow them to see their upcoming matches and submit and pay for forfeits online.
Early – more 48 hours’ (prior to fixtured match start time) notice – $60.00
Late – less than 48 hours’ (prior to fixtured match start time) notice – $80.00
No Show – $120.00
No show will be contacted by MDBA and required to make payment within 48 hours of the no show.
If you require a fill in player, you must inform Andrew (registrations coordinator) by creating a private TeamAPP chat with “Registrations/Fill Ins” or email osborneutdregistrations@outlook.com so that the club can track who has filled in for which team, to ensure we are complying with Fill In rules to avoid penalties. If you are unable to source your own fill in, Andrew will also be able to assist you.
Reminder that players are only allowed to fill in for your team TWICE. After this, they either need to register with your team (only applicable if they are don’t already play in a team, or if they are in an age group below) or you need to use a different fill in.
There are significant penalties for any team breaching this rule, including the game being registered as a forfeit and a loss of 12 premiership points. No player is permitted to play under another players name.
A player can only fill in for a match in the same age group in a higher division than they are currently registered.
Fill in players that are registered in the same age group will not be permitted in grading matches or any finals match.
If a player is registered in a higher age group (than their natural age group), but wishes to fill in for their correct/natural age group they may do so, but must play in the highest and/or higher division than the team they are registered in.
Female players may play in male competition up to and including U14’s
Under 8 rules for fill ins – A player can only be registered for one Under 8 team per season and can fill in for another team in the same age group regardless of division, as there are no ladders or finals in this competition.
